Sometimes I download bits off a popular Dragon Ball Z release just to see if I come across a cool edit or something. So, I recently downloaded a DVD rip of episode 1 from a website and came across this version. Not only is this 4:3, but it seems to be way better than the Dragon Boxes.
The very first Dragon Box was released 19 March 2003, and as they say, the rest is history. Of course, the official Dragon Box website was rehashed for every Dragon Box release, providing new details, promotional photos, and ordering information. DBZ: Battle of Gods (movie) comes after Dragon Ball Z. It's form original creator, not like GT (Dragon Ball GT isn't connected to this). (This 'IMDB version' stands for both Japanese and English). Watch it if you want, but it has (almost) the same story as beginning of Dragon Ball. The Dragon Box features over 40 uncut episodes, remastered and restored frame by frame, rendering the legendary action in pristine clarity. Each episode is presented in Japanese with the complete opening and closing credits and includes the original episode previews. Box Design As originally announced, FUNimation’s domestic Dragon Boxes would be smaller in not only its physical size but the number of discs each volume would contain, as they are going to be splitting the original two volumes into seven separate volumes.

Is this Ultimate Uncut and was it this detailed with perfect colours? If not, then which release has this been ripped from?
